Tesla is struggling to sell their expensive luxury cars in china, where hardly anyone can afford a $100k car and almost everyone lives in apartments with no plugs outside.
Yet that stock continues to trade in the $190s. As "sexy" as that car is, the stock is so overvalued... even Musk says so. Maybe with time or under different leadership, Tesla cars will become more affordable. In a few years, I'd love to buy a Model X, but not at those ridiculous prices.
It took a little while but they are pushing more affordable models. After the $35k small sedan finally comes out, they will then make a $20k model. I guess he listened to you.
