now im thinking about only using 1 time frame to look for trade setups in. I was trying to use 3. Im mainly watching 3 day, 2 day and 1 day charts for trade setups but the 3 day and 2 day charts very rarely show a setup.....pretty much never. i seem to do fine finding trade setups in the 1 day time frame so ill just simplify my scanning and drop the bigger two TF's.

This chart of Swiss Franc futures almost made me enter a trade on it for a short but its not "perfect" so i ignored it. I have been tempted into too many "almost there" trades to do it again. Everything looked GREAT for a daily reversal but the weekly trend is not strong yet and there is a pretty solid rising support trendline to top it off, which is probably why the trend is not strong yet.

the trade im currently in with /LBS is making me rethink my trailing stop exit. in /LBS the 20 and 50 are rising but 20 is still below 50...?? normally i would wait for 20MA to cross 50MA before using 20MA as trailing stop, but now im thinking i will start using 20MA as a trailing stop once price closes past 20 and 50.........because that ALWAYS happens once a good move has started.

LTF trend is not strong but it still looks interesting to me...

i have been researching a little and i think i figured out how many indicators is too much for me. 9 signs on my MTF chart is a little much. Thinking about dropping the fibonacci, stochastic divergence and histogram divergence.

that leaves me with LTF 20MA, trendline/pattern as S/R, bar signal, volume at/above avg, stochastic overbought, histogram near hi/low..........6 signs that i would see on my MTF trading chart. should be enough.

now i will focus on finding good LTF's and try to find out my hit/miss ratio. TOS has many futures to trade so i will try to pick from them first, before using any stocks.

I thought i would be able to make more trades in real time by watching for day trades on my days off but that doesnt work out so well since i sleep in and run errands. i will stick with daily moves (3D, 2D, 1D) to trade using Weekly charts as my LTF. i "have time" to trade daily moves.
